Dr. Garry Mancini BDS FDS RCS (Eng.) M'Orth RCS (Eng.) MSc (U. Lond)
Our Journey: Crafting Smiles, Building Connections
Garry qualified as a dentist in 1990, earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Liverpool. He went on to gain extensive hospital experience, holding Maxillofacial Senior House Surgeon posts at the Bristol Dental Hospital, Bristol Royal Infirmary, and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. He further developed his expertise through a Senior House Surgeon role in Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics at Manchester Dental Hospital.
After a period in general practice in St Helens, Merseyside, Garry pursued specialist training in orthodontics at the renowned Eastman Dental Hospital and Institute in London, where he completed three years of postgraduate study.
His academic achievements include Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (1993), a Master’s Degree from the University of London (1996), and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (1997).
Garry is a Senior Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England, examining postgraduate dentists and doctors both in the UK and internationally.
He is highly respected among his peers, with many dental professionals entrusting him with the care of their own children.
Garry leads The Barbican Orthodontic Clinic with a commitment to delivering exceptional care and outstanding results for every patient.

Audrey Lotter

Audrey is an original team member of our clinic, joining us from day one of opening in 2003. In 2009 she qualified as Orthodontic Therapist from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
“I am a native of South Africa and qualified as a hygienist in 2002 from the University of Stellenbosch. I moved to London in 2003 and joined The Barbican Orthodontic Clinic as head nurse and eventually trained and qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2009.
I am very passionate about patient care, having 17 years’ experience of orthodontic management.
My priority is guiding your treatment journey and tracking your progress and ensuring optimal timely results in achieving your confident smile!”

Salome Suarez
Dip Orth Therapy (RCS) Eng
Salome graduated as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2012, gaining her qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Her career in Dentistry began back in Peru where she graduated with a degree in general dentistry in the University Nacional de San Marcos. She then moved to England and started working as a dental nurse in 2004. Her interest in orthodontics peaked in 2006 when she started working as a dental nurse in an orthodontic clinic. She decided to follow her interests and decided to study to become an Ortho-Therapist a career she has enjoyed ever since. In addition to being an Ortho-therapist she has also gained a qualification in Dental Radiography and is always keen to keep on learning.

Lei joined our team at the Barbican Orthodontic Clinic in 2019 and qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2023, with a diploma from Royal College of Surgeon of England.
“I was born and brought up in China, and I graduated from Shandong Medical College China as a Registered Nurse. I moved to UK in 2008 to further my career and gain wider experience in the medical profession.
I joined the Barbican Orthodontic Clinic in 2019. I work closely with the orthodontists and its clinicians. In 2022, I was given the opportunity to gain my orthodontic therapist qualification and attended the University of Leeds and trained under the supervision of Dr. Garry Mancini. I truly appreciate the support, the confidence and teamwork at the clinic to achieve this professional goal.
I will ensure everything moves smoothly toward creating your beautiful smile.”

Abdel Yousrey
Dental Therapist and Hygienist
Abdel is registered as a Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist. This dual qualification allows him to carry out various treatments which include periodontal treatment addressing gum health, tooth fillings and teeth whitening.
He has a special interest both in periodontal and paediatric dentistry. Abdel is an asset to the Barbican Orthodontic Clinic. We are fortunate to have his expertise and experience for our patients.
